Over 500.000 Americans in South Carolina are hungry. As the holiday season approaches, it’s tough not to think of those in need while spending time with friends and family. As a consequence of the covid-19 pandemic, layoffs and company cutbacks have added to the problem, making it harder to combat.
Individuals battling with this condition can be found in our own community. This is why, over the next few months, our Community Cause effort will focus on raising awareness and doing everything we can to help those who are hungry. If at all possible, we urge everyone to participate in a local food drive, charity, or other food insecurity initiative. If you are unable to, we can make it easy for you to still give back.
